Complab

Currently, we are experiencing the IVth technological revolution. After the Eras of Steam, Electricity and Electronics, we have entered the Big Data Era. The necessity of saving, analyzing and protecting gargantuan sets of digital data calls for new technological breakthrough. One way points at Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, with the special emphasis of Deep Networks. Another explores quantum computers and quantum cryptography. There are also options for merging these two approaches. The aim of the COMPLAB is to explore in more detail these possibilities, within the multidisciplinary environment of the Center and using the network of scientific-industrial collaborations, e.g. FNP TEAMNET project “Bioinspired Artificial Neural Networks”.
